Busan Company Dinner Venue, a Hanwoo Restaurant with Rooms That Seats Up to 50

Booking a Busan company dinner venue usually falls to the most junior team member or whoever looks after the team budget. Picking a place where nothing goes wrong on the night matters more than picking the tastiest one.

Here are five things to check before you start comparing group dinner restaurants in Busan, followed by an introduction to HANWOO GOJIP, a Hanwoo restaurant with rooms in Gaya-dong, Busanjin-gu.

Company dinner venue checklist

1. Can everyone sit in one space? If fifteen people get split across three tables, it isn't a team dinner anymore, it's three separate meals. Ask how many people can sit together in one space at most, and how many a room holds, minimum and maximum.

2. Is there a private room? Company dinners come with toasts and applause, so in the middle of an open hall with no partitions you'll be worrying about the next table.

3. What time are last orders? Meet at 7:30 after work, and two hours later it's 9:30. It's common to try ordering more beef, only to find the kitchen has stopped taking orders.

4. Will the total fit the budget? You need to know the table charge, corkage and the prices of rice and noodle dishes in advance to work out a per-person budget.

5. How is everyone getting there? Let everyone know in advance how many cars can park for those driving, and the nearest station and stop for those on public transport.
