Seomyeon is Busan's busiest downtown, built around Seomyeon Station, where subway Lines 1 and 2 meet. If you're asking where to eat in Seomyeon, you'll find everything from street food to late-night BBQ.
Around Seomyeon
- Jeonpo Cafe Street — East of Seomyeon Station, a street of former hardware and tool shops that turned into cafés from around 2009. In 2017 it was the only place in Korea on The New York Times' "52 Places to Go in 2017" list.
- Seomyeon's food alleys — Busy lanes of small restaurants around the station, good for a casual meal.
The catch: crowds and waiting
Popular Seomyeon restaurants often have long waits on weekend evenings, and parking downtown is hard.
